Q: What does Apocalypse mean?
The English translation is Revelation. The word broadly refers to “The End Times.” It is a transliteration of the Greek word Apokalupses. Transliteration is a type of conversion of a word/text from one language to another. It’s a way of helping people pronounce words and names in foreign languages.
The Greek word actually means to uncover or unveil, as a bride would at her wedding. The word should be seen as positive. But that is not how society views it today.
